GREAT POSTER ART 003: Grindhouse Edition

Posters for Exploitation/Grindhouse films of the 70's are a whole new breed when it comes to poster art. They are the type of posters you'd expect to see a tear in the bottom right hand corner. 2. I'm not a huge fan of the Stones. But being it's a Scorsese directed doc, I couldn't pass it up. The one thing I wished there would have been more of in the music doc was footage of Charlie Watts drumming. There is an inbalance between shots of him and the amount of coverage for Mick & Keith. Some great backstage footage rounds things out nicely. Overall: B-
